Kubota '2003' L3000DT 8/4 std, engine/pto hp 32.1/27.5, hyd 6.9 gal/min
Why doesn't my '2003' L3000DT have a hydraulic fluid filter? Manual says there is a strainer mentioned in the maintenance schedule. Should I install a filter? I have a loader and BH on remotes and intend on adding more remotes. I've seen video on 3rd function installs that shows a filter and block under right step. Is this factory on newer models or after market? If I copy that design could I add several remotes at that location with a multiple bock?

I have an FEL on my L3000 dt, I just put a spin-on oil filter on the return line for the loader. the filter is behind the seat now, returns to the tank via 2 foot hose.. The strainer is at the bottom of the case, and i haven't had it out yet, as the oil is clean and clear. I believe the filter will help keep all the cylinders and valves in better shape now.Jy.
