I can't for the life of me find out what fittings are used on the Ford 770A loader. Years ago, a buddy and I went in on a Karry Krimp with 4 dies and boxes of Parker fittings for $500. Neither of us ever used it even though each of us had a Case 580 backhoe. Fast forward to my current project, a Lenar with modified 770A, in need of some lines. The supply from the QD at the aux hydraulic port, and return that is teed into the top of trans are fairly new. They are connected to a 4 port relief valve. The lift/tilt valves are original to the loader
Thanks for any info you can provide.

Got some pictures of the fittings in question?

For a minimal expense and a way to make measuring and ordering/making hoses is to use NPSM swivel fittings...
Switch out all the SAE or NTP fittings on the cylinder(s) and valves etc. with corresponding NPSM fittings (they come in typical angles etc.)...The other side of the NPSM fittings (female) are mechanical joints where no type of sealant is needed...the best part is with these fittings you can order/make all the hoses with straight thread (NTP) ends...as long as they have the 30ー internal chamfer....

I usually go with JIC for everything, I have a fair number of valves and stuff from industrial equipment, and Surplus Center is the same price for NPT Male and JIC Female hoses, so why not.

One issue I have realized with JIC fittings is for the most part the majority of the applications have 90* (short and long JIC), 45* etc. on the hose ends...these fittings are often more expensive (especially long stem angles)...
...But the problem if there is an angle fitting on both ends of a hose...the orientation has to be right...if not an awkward twist can be required to make it work

Looks like they are NPTF 3/8 fittings. A local shop will make a couple of 38" hoses for $35 ea. After that, I'm going to see about ordering a roll of hose and a bunch of the right -6 fittings I need for the Karry Krimp. And spit out my own hoses.
Are other brand fittings compatible with the Karry krimp, or do I have to stick with Parker?
At some point, someone replaced a steel line running up the loader arm with a hose. I would like to find a replacement steel line for it.

I usually just get the hoses and fittings at Surplus Center, the fittings are usually $1-5 each and the hoses are $10-20, works out significantly cheaper than the local places for the first time and if I ever need to replace them down the road, it will be significantly cheaper and quicker.

Same here, I use JIC, unless it is ORFS, then I stick with that.

I want the hoses to have female straight JIC swivel fittings. Any angles, I want at the fixed part, by fitting or fitting and angle adapter to the straight hose fitting. Simpler and faster to get replacement hoses. But sometimes you need angled hose fitting for room to fit.
