I know this probably has be asked before many times but which hydraulic connector is the 'in' and which one is the 'outlet'? I got lucky the first time I made an attachment and it worked fine but now I will need to know. I did a search and nothing turned up so now I am asking is the male connector the outlet or is it the other way around?
Thanks

If I remember right, the male QD on most machines is the pressure hose. I will try and find a reference for that. If you change out the QD's, you will never make a mistake again. One male and one female QD on the machine, so the female on the attachment would be the pressure side.

Thanks that sounds right and it is the first hose that moves when I turn the power take-off. I am getting a hydraulic sickle bar for it and I don't want to mess up the motor on the bar itself.
Thanks again.

On my PT if you are sitting in the seat the hose on the right (passenger side) is the out (The feed) and the hose on the left is the return.

Cool, most of us swapped the connectors on the attachments so they always hook up the same (meaning, we took off one of the females and put a male on that connector).

All the best

Thanks, mine is also set up with an male and female connector I just didn't know which one was the outlet. Does kinda make sense (male out / female in) just never put 2 and 2 together:)
Thanks guys
