Hydraulic flow

Does any body know what the hydraulic flow or out put is for a TC40? I have rear remotes and am looking at adding a Woods Backhoe. Should I get the extra PTO pump or am I safe with just my tractor?

The NH web site lists the GPM flow for the implements at 9.8. This is for the TC40A. Do not know the GPM requirements of the backhoe.

Dumbdog is correct on the pump output flow, but the PTO diverts .8 gpm of the 9.8 to operate the PTO clutch/brake. I believe that amount is diverted whether the PTO is engaged or not. Essentially, I think you can only count on 9.0 gpm maximum flow.

You should be ok. I was wondering the same thing about a woods backhoe for my tc30 and got the chance to try one out @ my dealer that didn't have the pump. It worked great. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I'm sure folks will prefer one or the other as opinions very; but it will do what you want without the seperate pto pump. The only thing is woods makes two possible backhoes for your tractor the 9000 which you'll be ok and the ground breaker which I believe is the newer one with more breakout force and maybe might need it but I'm not 100% sure on that one. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I am looking at the Woods BH80-X the dealer told me the PTO axuillary pump kit only had an out put of 6 gpm. So if this is the case I should be alright with 9 gpm. Any thoughts or more info would be appreciated.
