I have a backhoe on my tractor and assuming theres no real way to drain fluid out of backhoe cylinders, I'm coming up on 150hr service and was just thinking you pretty much just let it mix in with the new I'm assuming
Their is no practical way to change the fluid out of any cylinder in the system. If one were totally OCD they would have all cylinders closed before changing the fluid. It’s splitting hairs as it’s a small amount of fluid relative the the 10–15gallons in the system.

Mine was fairly contaminated when I got it so I raised the loader and hoe, pulled the drain plugs, then lowered lowered everything, pushed stabilizers down etc, so got extra crap fluid out of all the cylinders that I could.
