Oil & Fuel hydraulic fluid filter

/ hydraulic fluid filter #2
Just wanted to say HI and WELCOME, I'm sure the Kabota drivers will help you with that question.

Can u tell me where the hydraulic fluid filter is on the Kabota B8200?

Its a spin on like a car oil filter located on the left side below the seat in front of the battery. Your hand practically hits it when you disengage 4 wheel drive or engage your rear PTO low speed. According to the service manual you remove 4 bolts to take off the cover before reaching the spin-off filter.

Apparently it can be changed independent of changing the fluid.

There is also a an internal screen that is supposed to be cleaned when the fluid is changed.

That is where the filter is if it is a hydrostat. If not it only has a suction screen, and you are correct it should be removed and cleaned when changing the hydraulic oil.

Brian

Oh and if it is a hydrostat, it has two suction screens one for the hydraulics the other for the hydrostat.
