hydraulic fluid getting into engine on farmpro 2425

I fill the hydraulic fluid, start the tractor and the fluid fills the crankcase somehow to the point that it runs out of the engines vent tube. Any Ideas?

got a qd that unseated and / or otherwise blue the shaft seal out of the pump. it's an engine drive. so once shaft seal goes. it puts oil inthe engine.

if there is a blocked qd or one that didn't fit up.. it deadheads the pump.

i've seen farm pro pump setups with wd right after the pump and BEFORE the relief valve.

what genius came up with putting a 'deadheader' inbetween a pump and it's relief.. i'll nver know. deffinately a designed to fail setup IMHO.


anyway.. check that.... it would be at the very top of my list of faults to check....

Okay, thanks. not sure what qd or wd means but I'll check the pump seal.

qd = quick connect/disconnect.

might be time to brush up on some tractor lingo too.

you'll see lots of it / use lots of it.

farm pro are hands on machines .

you'll either be doing plenty of maint.. or having someone do so.

not bad machines or anything. they will just require some hand holding.. etc.
