I originally had my Case-IH D40 serviced at the Case dealer and he used the Case branded hydraulic fluid that met the CNH MAT 3525 spec.

The other day I went down to my New Holland dealer (because he's closer) and picked up fluid that they said was good for my tractor, and I looked on the back and it lists the CNH MAT 3505 spec.

As far as I can tell from looking at the two jugs, the only difference between them is the operating range of the CNH MAT 3525 is a little better (both lower and higher).

Anyone else know what the difference is, or which is better?

Anyone else know another brand (besides CNH) that's just as good?
