Hey all,

I just want to start out saying "I LOVE THIS TRACTOR!"
But I have one small annoyance...

I just installed my second hydro fluid radiator. It's the usual rupture that occurs on the left side hole from vibration/metal fatigue. I know this is a current know issue, but does anyone know if it is being addressed.

Is there a way to secure that hose to the radiator mount to reduce the vibration? Kinda odd how the right side hose has no vibe at all and the left has a very noticeable vibe.

My dealer was surprised and concerned that I needed another radiator already. I seem to get about 125 hours out of one before it ruptures. I think the dealer was going to put a call into NH to check on a more permanent fix than just replacing the thing again.

If they come up with something I'll let you know.

Oh, I have a TC45D with SS and 17LA loader with ~250 hrs.

Maurice, can you take some pictures? I have a TC45D with 670 hours and have never experienced this problem. It's really strange that you have already had two failures in half the time I have on my tractor. If you could expand your info, I'd appreciate it.

I've heard of a leak in the hoses on the Class IIs, but never the Class IIIs. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

There is a "new level" oil cooler that supposedly will not fail at the inlet fitting. The accompanying bulletin specifies clamping the hoses to the bolts lower on the cooler frame. I can't supply the part number today, but your dealer can find it and get it for you.

Working on the pics, I've been out of town and will be in Denver all this week. As soon as I get a minute, I'll get a couple.

Thanks for the reply!

When I return the old one, I'll ask if the one I just installed is the new style

I just had my first hydro fluid radiator go at 45 hours. I went ahead and had the 50 hour service done while they were replacing the radiator.

Fuild sprayed around pretty good from the leak, any easy ways to get hydraulic fluid off the engine and surrounding parts under the hood? I'll probably try and see if it will burn off with use.

If that doesn't work, maybe some type of engine cleaner made for car engines?

Just a good ole fashion pressure sprayer will get the fluid off. When my front cooler hose broke I just used my pressure sprayer and it got everything off.

Well, It looks like another 125 hours have passed.
I just put on my 4th radiator. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

This is the only complaint I have with the tractor. I looked at the new ones and they have fixed the problem with a few changes. But to trade to a new one is gonna cost me ~$7500

Not sure what to do.
