Okay, I gotta ask. Looking at this site: Abco Engineering Hydraulics | Hydraulic Gear Pumps

And knowing my pump is currently 11cc-L, couldn't I just swap in a 16cc or 20cc for about $100?

I've been trying to find the specs on my pump (connection options, etc), but not been very successful.

My pump is JD02018, though I suspect it is actually JP02018. See pics.

How do I match up the physical characterisitics (dimenstions, shaft length, number of teeth, connection locations, etc) without pulling the pump?

Whoever makes the pump, should have a layout of the pump. Locate the pump at a distributor, and measure it.

Is the pump not easy to pull and measure?

Some pumps physical dimensions remain the same, such as the size of the shaft, number of splines, bolt hole spacing, etc. The back part of the pump gets longer thicker, etc.

The pump is to the right and just in front of and below the dash. You know, behind the FEL and tractor frame. I could barely get my phone in to take the pics :) Removing the FEL may help, but I'm not ready to do that yet. Snow coming again (6-10" in the next 24-48 hrs)

Joyang Hydrotech gear pumps- here is the closest info I found:
http://www.joyang.net/catalog/catalog.pdf (1.4MB, couldn't attach to message)

If you go to page 4 (7 of 8) with the JP20 series, it seems there is a single physical size break between 16cc and 18cc (see chart attached). There are line size differences between 10/12 and 12/14, but that's not hard to overcome.

As a hydraulics expert (admit it, I've seen your posts ;)) could you take a look and give me your opinion? I read detailed specs all the time, but am new to hydraulic pump specs. I know some things because I deal with it, but others...

If anyone knows a dealer/distributor for these things, please drop me a line!

Thanks!

You need a complete picture of the pump label. The number you listed above seems to be the serial number and not the model code. The last page of the pdf you attached has the codes.

Here is another maker of similar pumps. Northern Tool carries some of them.
Dynamic Fluid Components - Pressure Gauges, Hydraulic Motors, Gear Pumps, and Hydraulic Accessories

3RRL and GuglioLS have performed similar upgrades to their Chinese tractors. I think they got their pumps from Affordable (Tommy) or RanchHand (Ronald) who post here. If the pump has the same configuration of flange, shaft, and ports and if there is room for it the upgrade should work.

Bumping old thread. Manuals all spec out this as the OEM pump (Joyang):
Hydraulic Pump, HP-MH3510N

Replaces OEM Number: 14505151000, 14505151001

Fits Tractor Models: Mahindra 3510 old style, 3510 new style, 4110 T4 (not for 3510 HST)

Pump Number: Joyang 1450-515-100-1, 11cc-L, s/n: JH05012

New Pump Number: KP05123ASSS
I am ready to buy and replace the OEM 7.8x gpm pump with something in the 12-ish range.

I'll tee together the T's from all spools into a single larger line, run flow reducer to PTO (after external solenoid) if necessary to protect PTO circuit.

Need more flow/speed for upcoming grapple and other attachments to run off a 3rd function valve.

Will buy new 12-20 gpm joystick spools with 3rd function if necessary.
