So I have 1 rear remote and that remote controls the front grapple. Rear back hoe dump trailer wood chipper and wood splitter. Often I disconnect the 2 lines from the grapple when I require another implement hooked up. Then I don't have a good place to store the lines and the next time they are covered on mud , dirt and dust. Is there a item like a dummy plug to hold and support the hoses?
Preferable something that's not going to open the hose ends so the oil all leaks out?

They make rubber male and female plugs for the QC ends but most just connect the male and female QCs together to protect both sides. From there it would seem you could do anything from a zip tie to a full on bracket.
If you wanted to make a mount and leave the hoses in place AND add a set of QCs they make “bulkhead” fittings that will mount to a hole drilled in say steel plate.

Get some old female quick couplers and gut them so they will not open your hose ends. Then find a place to mount them.

Excellent idea Zebra . Just so happen to have some that I replaced a couple weeks ago as they were leaking .

Another option 5089L209 Hose Hanger made by Wallenstein. Show in the attached pic. You may need to zoom in. Modify and mount 20180707_173310.jpgas needed. Later

Am I the only one who just hooks them (male and female QDs) together to keep the ends clean, connected and with no possibility of one side building up pressure?

Or am I missing something?

If I dont do that with my backhoe, I'm not getting it connected without cracking a fitting loose to let out pressure.

Nope. It’s in the tractor gospel. Anyone that does otherwise hasn’t reached the wisdom level.
