I have to replace a leaky hydraulic hose in my front end loader. Once replaced do I have to do anything to get the air out of the lines?

Just run the cylinder(s) through a few complete cycles. That should purge the air.

I think Kubota finally corrected the design flaw on the tractors. I have now bent two of the fixed hydraulic lines that run across the front of my loader. This time since I was replacing a leaky flexible line I replaced the hard lines as well. I was at the dealer and noticed that Kubota now has a plate covering those hardlines. I may just get myself a piece of angle iron and drill holes in it where the plates hold the hardlines to cover them.

Kubota suggests turning the steering wheel from lock to lock a few times to purge air in the system.
