hydraulic hoses

I have also used DiscountHydraulicHose.com for hose needed for a snowblower and snow plow project to name a few. They are easy to work with, ship quick, and the hoses are first rate. I'm also sure that if you compare thier prices to NH that you will save $$$$.

I had Discount Hose make up a hose for my hay mower with restrictor ends and it was a long one, over 15 feet. Had it in 4 days. Good folks and reasonable too. I recommend them.

Local Carquest store, Napa store, 3 different ag machinery dealers, neighborhood tractor repair guy, and several others I'm forgetting all have hyd hose machines & any of them will have me up & running again with a hose of better quality than the original expensive part numbered hose on any of my machine. Takes less than 15 minutes unless I hit a really bad time. Bring in the old drippy hose, leave with a good new one, no waiting, no fuss.

Perhaps that's why I run with kinda poor hoses. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

According to the manager of the New Holland repair center where my tractor is being repaired (for hydraulic problems),

the hoses for the new boomers are not being made the way that they used to be made, and his service department has been having to replace far more of them recently than they used to.

Alot of the machines they are having to replace the hoses on are machines so new that they are still under warranty.

Including my own tractor, which is now in the shop for a complete change of hoses because of repeated hydraulic problems.

Fortunately, it appears (at this time) that the dealer will honor the warranty as far as replacing all those hoses.

I'll let you folks know how things go.

Warranty only fixes something that is broken. If it isn't broke they will not fix it. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Not true at all.

The warranty will cover defects in materials and workmanship which inferior hoses would come under. If they don't meet the specs then they are defective, even though they are not broken.

I guess you must be good buddies with your dealership, as mine only covers something under warranty if it is broken. Do you know someone that got that lucky that the dealership replaced all hoses even if not all of them are broken yet, but you can tell they will fail more sooner than later? I had broken hoses before... /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
