hydraulic indicator light

Recently my hydraulic indicator light came on my Montana 3940HST. The manual (joke) said when the light comes on it is an indication that the filter needs to be replaced. The filter is under the tractor and parallel to the ground so when you remove it you loose most of the fluid. I replaced the filter with the same make and model, refilled the hydraulic fluid but the light is still on. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Does it stay on after the tractor is warmed up to operating temps. My LS tractor has a cold temp light that comes upon start up briefly during cold weather operation.
If not that then look for a sensor in the system that must have gone bad. Try tracing the wiring from the light back to source to find the sensor.
