Mahindra 26xl Max
Hi,

I've got a hydraulic leak on a Mahindra Max 26 XL HST. It seems to be a leak at the weld in a flanged pipe, exactly as described in this post..

I'm planning to replace it myself, as the nearest Mahindra dealer is 120 miles away since they closed the nearer dealer.

The pipe exits the bottom of the hydraulic pump, travels under the motor, then goes into a block. Given a leak at that point, is there much chance that something else would have been damaged? Or just replace the pipe with the updated version and it's associated O-rings and expect that it will work fine?

#16 on the diagram, along with 17, 21, and 21A

Thanks

Since it is the pressure line from the pump very little chance anything else is damaged. I would replace the parts and get back to using your tractor

most likely vibrations that caused the damage.
You might even consider just having it welded. Its been 6 years or so since I had a similar tube on the old Kubota tig welded. a new tube was a small fortune, and it was easy to access, so not too much downside if it didn't work.

OK, thanks! I'll probably just get a new one. It isn't cheap, but not a fortune either. The superseded part number seems to indicate that this may be a redesigned part, so I'm hopeful it will hold up longer than the original.
