I have a slow drift down of my lift arms, not a serious leak yet. But, I noticed when i leave my sand bucket on it's "cutting" edge over night the front tires will have lifted off the ground. I would guess the two "problems" are caused by the same failed/failing part. Does this point to one part failure being the most likely problem? thanks.

While slow driftdown is normal due to tolerances in the spool valve (and possibly on the emergency valve on the right side of the operator station), what's curious is that it lifts the front wheels. You'd expect it to drift until it encountered and obstruction which should remove the downward force on the lift arms. It would appear that there is something applying pressure to the down side of the circuit.
If you get into the machine when it's in this state, and depress the left pedal without starting it, does it let the front wheels go down?

Tried the left pedal toe and heel with no change in position. ie. the front end stays up. I thought it was a strange thing too, i made the mistake of putting the bobcat on a trailer with the bucket on it's front lip and chained the body to the frame of the trailer, two days later when i looked at the unit, the bobcat applied enough pressure to damage some of the 2X8 boards, never made that mistake again. Can't figure out the problem either. thanks.

That's an odd one, you'd think that when you step on the pedal it would release whatever pressure was there. One can only assume that when the bucket is flat that there is still somehow force being applied to the down side of the lift, pressurizing the cylinders. You might ask over at the Skidsteer forum; there is a guy that works at a dealership that show up periodically and chimes in on lots of issues people are having. My 700 just follows the path of least resistance; I have a couple boards under the bucket to keep it up out of the dirt and mud and it's just sitting comfortably with the bucket a bit higher. As an experiment, I'd park yours with the bucket angled down at a 45 degree and landing on a couple of 4x4 or blocks, let it sit and see if the tilt flattens out, and or if the wheels lift commensurate with the blocks.

To test which circuit (lift or bucket) is building pressure you have do more than lower the seat bar to unlock the pedals. The BICS system has an electric solenoid that blocks the oil flow from the valve to he cylinder circuits. Put seat bar down then turn key on without starting engine the push Press to Operate Button. Then try moving pedals one at a time to see if pressure is in lift or bucket tilt. I too am at a loss to how it can leak down building pressure to raise the front wheels with engine off.

thanks for the help so far, unfortunately am now waiting for a new keyless start module, as the last one began smoking an shut me down. hopefully be reinstalled later this week. will try entering the start code without starting the engine. will report what happens. thanks for the help and i will refer to skidsteer forum and check for responses.
