i have a 3010S purchased new in 2001. the hydraulic lift has always worked well in lifting various implements (blade, shredder, post hole digger) but for some reason it has started to jerk real bad while lifting. i am trying to use the post hole digger and when i pick the digger up after boring a hole, the lift jerks and bounces real bad on the upward function. there are 2 control levers (draft and position) that control the lift function. the manual is pretty confusing and not very helpful explaining all this. can someone help out and try to explain which lever does what? thanks a lot. run your lever(s) as position control.
do your remotes function correctly? power steering? pto engage ok?
does your lift settle quickly when the machine is turned off?.. or 'correct' ( bobbing ) alot when you have a load on it at idle?
correct fluid level, serviced regularly, with filter?
( I used a 3010s for a while... dell in love with that tractor.. almost bought one on consinement at my dealer back before I got my 7610s )
