Hydraulic lift troubleshooting

My 1320 is making a funky noise every 10 secs or so, and when I attempt to raise the 3-pt, the noise is constant and there is a 5 second or so delay before the 3-pt lifts.....any ideas? Thanks

Got a suction leak/ and it is loosing prime / having to reprime / cavitate? What's it sould like.. a squeal/ rumble? popping? etc.

Lots of times squealing is a relief valve.. however in your case I'd almost guessit was air being purged.. sounds like you may have a leaky lift that takes a second or so to prime when you go to use it.. etc.

The problem was fixed by simply changing the hydraulic filter /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Suction side? Could have been pump cavitating due to oil starvation.
