hydraulic line leak on BX2200

While moving some dirt with the FEL yesterday I found myself being sprayed with hydraulic fluid coming up from the left floor board around the emergency brake and differential lock pedal.
Turned out that the center line of the three lines under the left floor board developed a split. The dealer said this was the first one that has done this in his shop, I also had the first steering problem due to corosion he had seen a while back.
Of course he had to order the line/lines so I wil be tractorless for a while.
Anybody else had a line split, or am I just lucky???

Some people have all the luck, but with luck like that, I would say that you are out of luck!!! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I have had metal tubing split on me, but it isn't a common thing to happen. Maybe if you give your tractor a little more love and affection it will become a little more reliable..... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

JimC, guess your luck has moved northwest /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif. I was out moving some manure for a neighbor today and had the exact samething happen. Worst part of it was she was the one using the BX at the time. She feels real bad about it even after I insisted it wasn't anything she did.

The line split right at the bend under the brake lock. Middle line was the one to go. Fortunately I have a pretty good mechanic next door with all the right tools. He's going to drop some bronze on the hole for a temp patch. I'll have my dealer order a replacement line.

First issue with the little jewel. Three years (to the day), 130 hrs. I used it over the past two weeks to move 250 tons of fill dirt with no problems. Gotta level the spot it's new home is going on /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif.
