I have searched quite a bit for ideas on this but not having much luck. New member, first post, and thank you in advance for the help.
I have a 2016 Mahindra 3016 HST with a Mitsubishi 3-cyl 1.3L diesel. I haven't used it in probably a year. The engine was very slow to crank and it's not a battery thing, bad ground, etc. Fast forward, I pulled the glow plugs and the engine turns over at the normal speed. I have the fuel shut off so nothing else should be going in there. If I put any of the three glow plugs back in, it slows it down on that stroke. I've blown the cylinders out with compressed air, cycled it with the starter to blow out anything, and let it sit for a day or two with those plugs out.......it still is still using everything the starter has to turn over the engine if any of the glow plugs are in.
What am I missing here? How can I clean out whatever is in these cylinders??
This got me thinking......could it be something blocking the exhaust??
Thanks!
