Hydraulic Motor help needed Fence trimmer

My winter/spring project is to make a fence line trimmer that I can mount on the pallet forks. I have auxiliary hydraulic ports on the Case DX35 so I would like to power the trimmer by hydraulics.

Total hydraulic flow is 14.9 gpm, 5 gpm to steering and 9 pump.

I’m looking for an inexpensive used hydraulic motor to use, but I don’t know how to size one up.

A Case\Ingersoll Mower drive unit is available locally for the right price. Would it work?

Your tractor puts out 9 galons to the hydraulic system, like loader 3pt and auxiliaries. The real available amount of oil depends on the length and diameter of the hydraulic lines.
The way I read your post, you want to put your tool on the loader and want to feed it from the auxiliary couplers from the back of your tractor? This puts quite a length of tubing/hoses in your project. To make sure you get as much oil to the front as possible, I would go bigger than 1/2".

What are the specs of your hydraulic motor? Volume? Any limitations RPM wise? What is the pressure rating of the motor compared to your tractor? How much RPM does your trimmer need?

If you get a displacement info on that motor, it is per revolution.
I would assume a real 8 gallons of flow if the installation is done like I assumed above.
Divide those 8 gallons by the volume of your motor and you get the RPMs the motor will turn.
