I HAVE A 4310 AND WHEN I STARTED IT YESTERDAY IT BLEW HYDRAULIC OIL OVER THE BATTERY. IT ONLY HAS 120 HRS ON IT, HAS ANYONE EVER HAD A PROBLEM LIKE THIS BEFORE? LOOKS LIKE ITS THE COOLER FOR THE OIL THATS MOUNTED IN FRONT OF THE RADIATOR, IS DEERE COVERING ANYTHING LIKE THIS WITH SUCH LOW HOURS?

First STOP YELLING AT US!, typing in all caps is considered yelling and is very hard to read.

Now, to answer you question, there was a lot of hydraulic coolers that were damaged by leaking batteries. With all the bouncing around, the batteries were leaking fluid and corroded the battery trays and coolers. Your 4310 should be covered under warranty, so get them to replace the battery also if that's what caused it.

And Welcome to TBN!:D

What year 4310? Is it still under warranty?

I wouldn't be surprised. I'm on my third Deere supplied battery because it took that long to get them to approve a sealed battery. My oil cooler looks suspect even though I've cleaned it up the best I could. Two weeks ago I picked up a new cooler on E-Bay for about half the cost of a new one ($184)so I'll be ready if there is a problem.

That will depend on the quality of your dealer. Technically it's out of warranty and officially there is no problem with any of the batterys even though the tractor owners know better.
The oil cooler is made by Modine so in the event that Deere won't cover it you may be able to find it for less than the dealer by checking distributors who arry the Modine brand.

Thanks guys for the info. When my unit comes back from the shop, I am gonna look into shielding that area or going and getting a sealed Battery. Anyone got a part number and cost?
