hydraulic oil for jd 317 skid steer

what hydraulic oil can i use for my jd317 skid steer other than what john deere sells?

I believe factory fill on 300 series units is 15w40+50 not hyd oil. 317's have been around for a while so hard saying what is in it now but It only holds 8g though so are you really saving a whole lot by using a different brand of oil?
