I was using one of those the other day at my job. We had it on a New Holland LS180 Skid Steer. The thing works great. Actually there is no vacuum. You drive forward and there is a brush sweeping the debris forward and over the top into a sort of bucket. To get the last bit you reverse the direction of the brush and go slow and it works like a dust pan sweeping it into the bucket. When you want to empty it you just lift it up and dump that bucket I refered to where ever you want. Obviously as you can tell by the pic that JJ posted all of this is enclosed. Ours even has a curb broom. Next time I use it I will try to get pics.

I have to correct part of your reply. There are two hyd motors on this unit. It will sweep and suck up and filter everything above 10 micron. It is not a strong vacuum, but enough to get the cement dust , sawdust, or just plain dirt. etc. I don't know how much this unit cost, but I would think expensive.

Oh that could be. There I go making asumptions again. I didn't even look at it that close. Who makes it or do you have a link? I would be interested in looking at it more closely.

Pick-Up Sweeper Vacuum Attachment

New Vacuum Attachment!
The New Pick-Up Sweeper Vacuum attachment is factory-installed hydraulically powered for the Sweepster Collector Sweeper Models. This vacuum attachmnet collects and filters out airborne particles during sweeping operation for virtual dust-free sweeping without the need for water sprinkler systems.

pretty cool... but at 15-25 gpm, you are not going to be running it with a PT425.... a PT 1445 could possibly barely hack it.

The weight factor would also be a big issue. I think somewhere around 1200 lbs

However, there is probably a smaller vacuum/blower out there that could work.
