Previously had a Kubota 3710 and the loader lift capacity is suppose to be about the same on my JD 3720 with 300cx loader. 300cx loader capacity seemed to be less but no real proof. Checked the hydraulic pressure on the JD 3720 at rear remote. Pressure was 2200 psi and is suppose to be 2500. The pressure relief screw is easy to reach and is located just inside of right rear tire and under the cab. Adjusted the pressure in a few minutes to 2700 psi. I checked the pressure at the 3rd SCV and at the remotes for the hydraulic diverter and both showed the same increase in pressure. One adjustment affects all hydraulic outlets.

Cool. Did you notice a difference in the loaders lift capacity? Did you buy a guage that connects to you quick connects or did you just connect a presure guage or did you build one?

Sounds like something I should check.

I bought a Winters glycerin filled 5000psi hydralic gauge for about $18 at a hydraulic place. You can order a similar one at TSC for $20-27 depending if it is glycerin filled or not. The glycerin filled ones are suppose to handle vibration better but that is not really an issue in this situation. Bought an adapter and hooked to to a short piece of hydraulic hose with a male quick coupler on the end of the hose. With the right adapter, you could omit the hose but I had a short hose already available. I ran the hose through the rear glass and into the cab to monitor the gauge.
I haven't really tried the loader yet but would expect about a 18-19% increase in loader lift over the previous 2200 psi setting and about 8-9% increase over 2500 psi setting. JD mechanic once told me if you go too high the hydraulics will start to chatter and not good. I did breifly adjust it to 3000 psi and did't hear anything different. I wish I had checked my Kubota before selling it.
Does anyone know if the 3 pt lift would be affected by increasing the psi? My guess is no but just wondering.
