On my FEL control valve Im not using power beyond port so do I plumb it back to tank or just plug it? Thank you

I think on tractor open-center hyd valves that have a PBY port it should be utilized.

Thank you. The valve runs FEL and the PBY port was plugged but i think its causing pressure build up. Would the pressure build up cause hard starting?

Well, in about 5 more posts we will get the rest of the story......

But maybe some basics. How long has this setup been on the machine? Is this something you just setup? Does the loader valve have a return line hooked up and running back to the tank? Is this an open center or closed center system?

If it’s hard starting, does holding the FEL control lever in say the raise position make it easy to start?

Make and model of your valve? I would recommend plumbing in the Power Beyond, but it might not be needed.
If you are not going to use it, you may need to remove a second plug before you plug the Power Beyond port (that should tie the Tank and Power Beyond ports together).
Otherwise, it will force all the fluid that should be going to the Power Beyond port to go through the relief valve and to the tank valve (which it hard on the whole system).

Us arm chair or in my case rocking chair resident experts (??) need a lot more info and probably detailed pictures to properly analyze your problem. The PB port is plugged because that valve is the end of the line. There has to be a return line to tank (T) from each independent valve or cluster of valves in one body. I am sure your Mitsubishi is open center. PB is mandatory for an add on unless it is an add on to a sectional valve cluster.

It is very rare that any add-on valve would be at the end of the line on a tractor, because usually the three point hitch valve is the end of the line.

Araon, sorry I was not explicit enough. The PB needs to be in the existing valve to feed the new one. If his PB is plugged it must be the EOL. Like I said we are running blind here.
