Hi

I was wondering if someone can help me out. I'm asking this for my father in law. He has a 1964 Ford industrial tractor. The pump for the loader is beyond repair and needs to be replaced. The pump says Cessna #20 100-11c and it is for a loader #19-377. the pump bolts to to the motor with a four bolt flange and goes in with a spline connection.

If there is anymore information that you would need I will contact him and find out. He is going to try to get me a picture. If this should be posted in a different section(hydraulics) please let me know. He has nowhere to turn and I told him I would try this website. Thank you for your help. It is greatly appreciated.

I had a 64 4000 gas and found I could still get parts through New Holland. I also found parts at Yesterday's Tractor. I'd give them a call.

We had a 68 3000 with a 730 loader with the same type pump . We rebuilt it several times two times the shaft splines wore out for the butterfly flange couplin. A hydraulic repair shop got the parts for us .

He is getting the pump back in pieces from a hydraulic repair shop. They said it was not repairable. Hopefully they can give him some more info on where to buy a replacement. I will tell him to check a dealer just in case they could help him out. Thanks guys for your help. I will let you know what I find out. I think that part number on the pump maybe a casting number because it doesn't seem to match anything.

Have the dealer to run a parts locator if they havent they may find one setting on a shelf somewhere. If you know the old ford part no .

If the tractor is a 4000 industrial, go to New Holland's Website and look under the parts and service tab. Select parts and type in 4000 for the model. Then, scroll down for the 4000 Ag Tractor and look under Hydraulic Systems (don't look at hydraulic pump). The heavy duty industrial gear pump that sits in front of the engine is shown as part number 290346 and is no longer serviced, but there may be parts available. I've attached the drawing from NH's website.

Design-wise the pic that Jim had about your pump is pretty similar to the hyd pump I overhauled few years ago. The link below might give you some clues. Disregard the first few posts and the pump pics and explanation start in the middle. All gear drive type positive displacement type pumps are about the same with some having a spring loaded pressure relief device or some minimal bypass to alleviate pump dead heading which would be specially destructive on them. You can dead head a centrifugal pump momentarily to read max head developed.
