Both pumps have failed on you?? Are these both engine driven?? Power shuttle, right??

thanks for the reply...i dont think it is both pumps..i was told it was the pump that runs the remotes... i had a dealer check the presure he said it was 700 lbs...he also said the loader shouldnt be working at all... but it does...to me it has always seemed weak...can the pump be rebuilt ? any ideas ?? and it is power shuttle . thank you for any help bruce

If you don't have a parts manual, look up the part number on the AGCO / MF parts site. Put the part number in the MF parts look up on Jack's Small Engines site. Their price is usually less than most other dealers. The price should be just over $500.

I would buy a gauge and check it myself before I bought a pump. Also, check your quick connectors.

thanks for the reply...i did try to look up the pump but i coulnt find the part # for the it... i am going to look again just to be sure ididnt miss it..i do have a gauge . can i just put a fitting on it and plug it in the quick coupler ??? thank you for the help bruce

Yes, you can install the mate to the QD, and activate the lever for that hose, and read the PRV pressure. If you have relief pressure, the pump is good.

Going along with what J_J said. When you hold the valve lever open, the pressure will build up until it gets to your maximum pressure. That will be when the bypass valve opens up and you can hear the engine load.

By the way, 700 psi can probably raise the loader empty all day. If you install a hyd gage in your system, you will be surprised at the pressure required as you are working with different loads. If you are lifting half a load, you may only see half pressure.
You only see max pressure when the loader might be working at the max load in lbs, or when you max out the cyl's.
