I recently became the owner of the mid-mounted, hydraulically powered mower shown in the attached pix. It was last mounted on a 1960s Case industrial backhoe/loader but the frame had been substantially modified so I am not sure that it came with the loader. I have never used a sickle mower and have a bunch of questions.
- Any ideas on manufacturer/model? - It has been repaired and repainted numerous times. It has a John Deere lift cylinder, seems to have a symbol that could be an International-Harvester I-H logo in the base casting, has Ford, JD and I-H mower teeth.
- It has a "Commercial" hydraulic motor by Commercial Shearing and Stamping Co. A226-21. It would be great to find out more on the specs/flow of this motor.
- I don't plan on mowing fields with this but would be interested in woods road/driveway maintenance possibility. Have folks mounted something like this on a skid steer mount to be used on a FEL?
thanks for any thoughts in advance
