Hello im new to the hydraulic world havent had much experience with them and my question, I want to put 2 sets of auxilary hydraulic outputs on the back of my 2305 john deere and one set down where my loader conections hook up for a grapple. I was wondering where i could find a solinoid valve for this, instead of those big manual valves, would this solinoid valve be a 3 way? and i was thinking of useing 3, 3 way throw back toggle switches ( if thats what there called) for this option?

What do you want to run from the rear remotes?

The solenoid valves are not proportional, they are ON or OFF. I don't think you would be happy with them for rear remotes. For the FEL it would be OK, but you will find that a electric diverter will be easier to plumb on your JD because you don't have easy access to the PowerBeyond connections where the loader hooks up.

There are small valves that can be plumbed easily at the rear of your tractor. There are even a few people here who's done it to their 2520's which is very similar.

A valve like THIS one takes up a small space, and would be a very good fit on your machine.

The Surplus center also has the solenoid valves also and yes, you need 3-way open center.

For more info, do a search for these terms:

diverter
fasse
solenoid
WR Long

Kennyd, Im just looking to have them there for in the future if i decide to make something that would require those outputs, and i really dont want somthing fairly big on the tractor so thats why i asked about the solinoid valves so i could jsut have toggle switches mounted on the fender or somewhere. another question is, is there kits to tap into the existing hydraulics for the FEL to add on auxilary outputs for the grapple and rear outputs?

Surplus Center has this 12VDC solenoid valve. It taps into the Power beyond hose on the loader or into any pressure port with return to tank. You need the D03 sub-base
Surplus Center Item Detail

The loader valves on the JD's not NOT have a PowerBeyond hose, they are made into the transmission house, and all porting is done internally.

If you add the dimensions of two of those solenoid valves, plus the D03 bases-it will take up more room than the valve I linked above and it will also cost more to boot.

The solenoid valve are NOT the way to go-read my previous reply to Shaley.

For rear remotes-look at these threads:
ONE
TWO

Basically, you add the PowerBeyond loop at the rear of the tractor, and plumb the valve into that. Since the PB is at the rear, I suggested in my first reply that you add a diverter to the FEL, it "diverts" fluid from the dump/curl circuit to the grapple when a switch is pressed.

Did you search like I suggested? There are hundreds of post's about diverters and there installation.
