Hydraulic tank pressure??

Can anyone verify this for me?...
My Toolcat's hydraulic tank pressures up unless I loosen the tank lid. My dealer says don't worry about it, but I am. I don't remember it being this way before (???) and the lid APPEARS to be a vent type. I'm wondering if mine is just plugged up and a new one or cutting this one apart for cleaning will cure it.

Would anyone care to loosen the lid on your 'cat after some use and tell me if there was pressure on it or not??

I noticed pressure on mine before it came up for the 500 service which calls for the vented cap to be replaced. I checked it after replacing the cap and did not notice any pressure. I've been thinking I need to check it again now that it's warm out and I'm running it for longer periods mowing but I've yet to remember.

I kept my old cap to see what it will take to clean one out versus replace ..... $42 if my memory serves me correctly.
