Just note that the DPCV's will only guarantee no movement if you are trying to prevent the cylinder from compressing.

When a cylinder is under load and trying to extend, their are two things that can allow it to happen.
1. leakage back through the valve
2. internal cylinder leakage past the piston seals

The DPCV will only prevent leakage back through the valve

Google "double pilot check valve". You can buy one for around $75. Then you have to strap it to the barrel of your existing cylinder and plumb it. Probably have $125 in it when done.

Your existing hoses will connect to the valve body. Short hoses built to connect the valve body fittings to your cylinder.

Found one: Double Pilot Operated Hydraulic Check Valve, 1/2” NPT Ports, 11 GPM
