I'm still waiting on my new tractor to come in and I've read a lot of the threads on hydraulic top links. Do the majority of you folks that have the hyd top link have it predominantly for road work with a box blade or are there other things that it helps with as well and how much time do you think it saves you. I plan on working on numerous miles of ranch roads and it sounds like I should add it to my list. Also I plan on shredding about 15 acres to start with and as I get the pastures under control increasing to around 25 acres to be shred. I would mainly shred for looks and not planting much except maybe some oat or wheat fields to give the deer something else to eat but the M9000 Kubota is set up with a 83" width and the dealers tell me I should get the 84" shredder so that I don't have stripes, since it seems I can go back and just overlap the cut is there anything wrong with using a 72" and save the extra $1,000 for other toys. Besides I'd also get more seat time and that doesn't sound so bad to me. If anyone owns a Rhino do you think it's top notch or should I buy the $695.00 Tractor Supply Special.
