Hydraulic Top Link For B7500

Kickin' around the idea of adding a hydraulic top link to my B7500. Seems like it would be a worthwhile addition for box blade work, bushhogging, etc. My question is how difficult would this be to set up? I currently have a FEL. Could I use the FEL controls to run the HTL? Most importantly, anybody got a good estimate of $$? I would prefer to do the work myself if possible. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yea, I want one for my BX too! I was looking real hard at the hydraulic circuit diagram...I recon it could be put in series with the loader....

I have a T&T kit from Gearmore on my B7500. The retail for the kit (installed) ranged between $750 and $1250, depending on dealer. Bird put his own T&T on for something around the low end of that range.

A hydraulic top cylinder (2x8) will run you anywhere from $50 to $250, depending on quality and where you get it. Hoses are probably $20-$30. I'm not sure how much an SCV would cost standalone; Probably a hundred or more.

I don't know that using the FEL controls would be worth it. First, it's in the wrong position for a rear control, and second, and valves or switches would probably cost more than an SCV that's dedicated.
