My TL2100F lost hydraulic pressure. No loader movement and no 3-point. I drained the oil and it's frothy looking with clumps in it, makes me think water. I also removed the filter and it looked the same. I'm obviously going to put new fluid and a new filter in it. I'm also going to pull the loader valve center and clean that, along with the rear hoses and splitter valve I've got back there.
What I'm wondering is if theres any good reason to pull and check the pump before I start and try it. Also, are there any screens or other points in the system to clean while I'm at it?
Thanks all.

If you have power steering does it still work. If not it might be the pump drive. If the filter was stoped up that will stop the oil flow. check your shifter boots, if they are bad that will put rain water in the trans. Check your trans vent to make sure it is open, if it is cloged up a cold rain will cool the trans. and suck water in through all the seals.........Larry

I'm pretty sure the steering and hydraulics are separate, they have separate reservoirs. My boot does have a crack in it, and there were those several incidents in the beaver swamps and crick out back earlier this year...
I should have fluid and a filter tonight and will go from there.
Thanks.

I would not remove the pump. I'd fill it with just enough oil to make the hydraulics work & cycle it through the system. Drain it & see what it looks like. Let the oil set & see if it seperates from the water. If it is below freezing, you can freeze the water out of it. Flush the system a couple times, till you don't get water in the oil.

Changed the fluid and filter, no go. Took the cover off the back of the pump and spun the tractor over, everything spun in there. Put it together again and removed the seat and cleaned up under there in planning to take that down and see if the pump was putting out. Decided to try it again and it all works.

Loosen the pressure line at the pump & see if it pumps any oil.
