This is a repeat of a question I asked a month or so ago. I got great help from several of you. Ductape said (paraphrasing) -----remove the power-beyond hose, run a new hose from the power-beyond port at the front loader valve to the "in" side of the new hoe, then a hose from the "out" side of the hoe to where the power-beyond hose originally returned to the hydraulic system manifold/diverter block. Seems to make perfect sense. I just made the installation, and it doesn't work. The pressurized fluid causes the cylinders only to jump and jerk, and the out hose flexes with high pressure, but the fluid seems to dead-head, unable to flow back to the reservoir???????? Since the new out-hose is connected to the point where the center-flow was relieved from the front loader control, it seems it should flow freely. With the new hoe in series with the loader valve, the loader continues to work as before. I am totally stumped. I can't seem to find anyone who has added a hoe to a 1725 and knows where to make the return/reservoir attachment. Here's an update. I just tried disconnecting the return (backhoe out) line, effectively deadheading that flow. The front loader doesn't work with the line disconnected, so it must use that line too, and this may not be a problem with my installation. Now I'm really!! stumped. Help please. Chuck Manzer

Well I eliminated the problem, but didn't really "solve" it. I reversed the in/out hoses, and the backhoe now works like a dream. I am still totally confused how the Power-beyond port on the remote valve is providing the return pathway while the manifold/diverter hydraulic block at the is providing the pressure. My clue to reversing the hoses was the obvious pressure flinching of the "out" hose between the out port of the hoe and the manifold block. Clearly the pressure was being applied to the out side, and not to the in side. Now it's just an issue of curiosity. C.

I am thinking that somewhere on the block is the pressure and return ports.

The FEL would have been connected to the pressure line, and the PB from the FEL would have gone back to the block or remotes and then to the 3pt.

Whatever hose you disconnected from the block, the end of the PB hose, would be the source for the BH, the BH return line would go back to the block or port for the 3pt.

Can you show pictures and label the ports.
