Hydraulics for log splitter

I have a Massey 1215. I want to attach a log splitter to it this fall.There are quick connect attachments on 2 of the hydraulic hoses. Will these work to connect to the splitter? What else will I need to know? I am new to the forum. Thanks for any help.

The 1215 has just under 5 gal per minute hydraulic flow. That's sufficient for most splitters, especially if a two stage pump. It depends on the condition of your hydraulic pump and the size of your remotes. All quick connects reduce flow, but not significantly. If the remotes are the tiny Japanese size, you may have a challenge finding ends. At worse, if the pump isn't performing and the remotes are constricting, the splitter will run a bit slower.
