I have a hydraulic leak at the quick disconnect between the backhoe and the tractor. It was present on the supply side of the backhoe prior to uninstalling the backhoe (mounted 3 pt disc). After reinstalling the backhoe the return side coupler leaks. I assumed it was dirt particles, but did give a little extra effort in wiping down the connectors prior to connection. I didn't blow the connectors out, and am thinking this might be a good thing to do - What is recommended?

You might just replace the o-ring in the female side. It could have a tear or something under it. When you remove it look it over, replace if necessary. KennyV.

Kenny - I'll check it out. The only thing that doesn't "fit" is the problem was on the other set of hoses prior to disconnecting and reconnecting. It's possible there could have been dirt the first time, and cleaning it helped the first leaking connection, and this "new" leak is for a different reason.
