I'm in the process of changing the transmission fluid on my TC45D. The rear plug came out without much problem and I got out about 7-8 gallons of fluid. The problem is I can't get the front plug to budge. There is no indication of corrosion and I've applied as much pressure as I'm comfortable doing with a breaker bar. The last thing I want to do is twist the plug off! My question is: if I raise the front end of the tractor, can I get most of the fluid out through the rear plug? Thanks for any advise.

I don't know about lifting the front end up, but have you tried hitting the plug with a hammer? Or, sometimes, if that doesn't do it, try tightening it slightly. That can sometimes break it loose (although it seems like the worst thing to do, it does work).

Remove the plug on the front of the FWD dropbox/gearbox. That should get most of the fluid out of the front transmission.
