Hydro Flush

I have a Ford LGT14D lawn tractor with hydrostatic drive. 20 years old. Just wondering if the system should be flushed and with what? Transmission fluid? Can't think that it would hurt to flush, just don't know what it should be done with. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thats a great looking tractor! Do you know if the transmission fluid has been changed before?

I have no idea if the fluid has ever been changed. It looks clean. I just bought it and it will be put into service next sumer. 1220 hours on the meter. Bought from a dealer who says it was well maintained by previous owner. Who knows. I don't assume anything. I'm going through it over the winter and changing belts and cables and hozes etc..
Needs TLC. Parts are getting harder to find and discontinued so I want to maintain prior to failure.
