Im going to change out my hydro oil on my CT450 HST. I have a friend that can get a good deal on Kendall Hyken 052. Will this be ok to use?

Kendall Hyken 052
"Multipurpose Hydraulic/Transmission/Final Drive Fluid For Farm Tractors. Kendallョ Hyken 052 is a multifunctional fluid specially formulated for use in farm tractors and other off-highway equipment requiring one lubricant for the transmission, final drive, wet brakes and hydraulic systems"

This is an old debate. Basically it is your choice...as long as it meets the manufacturers specs you can't go too wrong. The warranty issue will be brought up I am sure. Remember legally they can't deny you coverage as long as YOU can PROVE the same specs. If they find one spec that is out they could deny you coverage.

My thought is that after 50 hrs you probably ok for major trans issues.

Thats the problem. What's the spec on the oil. In my book it just says bobcat transmission/diff fluid viscosity astm d 445 viscocity index astm d 2270

That is why they do it. I don't believe in that crap but I did break down and buy BC fluid. Next time...NOPE...it will be the Kioti listed fluid which I think is was mentioned on here before.

I use the CO-OP oil and 2-1/2 gallon jugs of what Is 75 fluid, thats what I just put in the skidloader, excavator, and tractor when I did service Friday. Looks exactly the same as Bobcat fluid. Even the jugs look identical.

Spoke to kioti this is what they sent me.

Any universal tractor fluid rated for differentials, final drives, wet brakes, and hydraulic systems enclosed in a common reservoir. Some brand names suggested are:
Texaco TDH Oil
Exxon Hydraul 560
Exxon Torque Fluid 56
Pennzoil Hydra Tranz
Mobilfluid 424

Thanks!

Yup. If my memory serves me it is the Mobil Fluid 424 which is what Daedong puts in at the factory for the Kioti line. Not sure if Bobcat makes Daedong put different fluid in or not for their line.

Also i have a loader and a backhoe on mine ct450 hst, when i drain this will it take all 11.1 gallon? Also whats the best way to get it filled in the correct level. Do you fill so much and just keep checking. thanks for any info you can provide

What I did was put a bulk amount in...say about ~85% capacity and then carefully top off from there. There is always fluid that you will never get out and if you add the 'listed capacity' you'll over fill.

Then run the machine to operating temps and check. Adjust as required.
