Ok this is gonna be hard to describe, but I will try. My New Holland TC29D has 40 hours on it. All fluids are topped, I keep on top of the maintenance. However, just about a week ago, it started making a different noise. When the tractor is moving, (i.e. under a load), just going down the road, it makes this intermittent noise. The noise is hard to describe. Its like a mechanical squeal or something. It happens for like 1 second, then goes away for a couple seconds, then does it again, etc etc. It is rather loud and annoying. For the first 30 hours the tractor never made this noise. When the noise occurs, there is no other symptom. The tractor still runs fine, like a brand new one! No other symptoms at all. Just this intermittent noise. Like I said, it only happens when tractor is moving. Thanks for any input! Normally I would just haul it in to my dealer and have him check it out but the dealer is 45 miles away and I don't have a trailer for it yet. Thanks!
