I have been waiting for a month for a square O ring that is called a `dust something or other' for the left spool on my KB 1440 BH's joystick. Mechanic said to rebuild both but I fear that they are too greedy to make parts for a 2006 LK 3054 since nothing is happening on the odrer. The mechanic, a recently retired sgt. major from a combat construction battalian says he has a crack team of parts hounds on it and nothing is happening. It's just been too long.
How uncommon are square O rings? I'm getting very discouraged. Going to the dae dong site made me even more discouraged This site is a smoke screen of frustration and blind alleys. Click on parts and you get a picture of parts on a shelf. Do a search for kioti parts in N.C. and you get pages of the same blind alley website. You can not talk to parts w/o going thru the customer harassment ****. "What is the part number!!" From whom did you order it? This lady does not need to know any of that; the parts guy needs to know that. I tried to explain that I was seeking general information about the company's back order problems. She sounded like a broken record. She knows **** well what I was talking about but corporations admit nothing. I could scream.
What are my options besides looking for a used backhow that will fit my korean knock off of a chinese knock off? If I could get the size of the O ring could it be made to order elsewhere? Is anyone else with an older kioti having trouble getting parts?
Ron
