Hydrostatic Whine X signature series

How old are you? Maybe just give it a few years, and that pesky high frequency hearing will start to fade. I find that whatever frequency your wife's normal voice is at will be the first to be affected.

Yes, a signature series X739 with 10 hours on it. I really wouldn't make too much out of the whine anyway. The old 755/855/955 series whined a good bit and most of those are still going strong. My 425 only whines if not adequately pressurized (low rpms) and it's 19 years old. Never did whine though, and the new trannies are the same design. It's tried and true. My neighbor has a good size cub cadet and you can hear that thing whining every time he uses it. I don't think it means anything.

Yes you are probably right. Just find the noise annoying. I had a 425, was a good machine. I bought mine in 94 or 95 Then in 2003 bought a x585 which I wish I kept . Live and learn
