I am in Big Trouble now ! Oh Geez ! Harbor Freight

Harbor Freight has just opened a new store only 15 min. from my home..Uh Oh...I just used some coupons today and got some deals. Up until now I have had to order on line and pay freight which has imposed a bit of discipline but now with them so close it poses a real temptation.

Today the Mrs. went with me and I hurried in with her and we got the several items I had coupons for and hurriedly checked out. She asked me why I was in such a hurry...I told her because everything in there was calling my name. I got nuts around all that kind of stuff...Chinese or not it is such a temptation.:laughing::confused2:

Have a store about that close to me too. But I don't have any problem getting out of there with but a few items. Don't like buying things at auctions either. Usually I regret it when I get home a go to use the items.

I don't find HF to be that big a temptation as I have a real distain for cheap tools, but get me into a real tool store and God help our budget.:laughing:

Ahhhhh....the smell of cheap metal and machine oil!!!! Great place to "shop" around and I never leave empty handed.....fortunately I no longer have one closeby.....!

I don't care for auctions either..there is usually a good reason the item is at an auction...but I can see right now the only way I can ever go to HF is with a list and coupons and then get out...the temptation is just to great..

But see, I have never had a store that close to me with cheap tools and it is not just the tools but all of the other hardware and automotive items...I will go with a list and coupons..that is my only hope..:laughing:

What is it with chinese rubber? Can't stand that smell, whenever I pick up a new HF item with rubber it spends a mandatory week or two on the back porch before it comes inside..much of the smell dissipates in that time frame.:laughing:

any chinese rubber.... We have a store called "Princess Auto".. Think HF, but canadian... I dont know what they put in it, but anything from ball pien hammers to cheap tires just reeks. :confused2:
