I am looking for a Troy-Bilt Horse tow bar

Does anyone know why this attachment is now obsolete? Was it safety related, or did it cause mechanical issues? Or was it because some one thought it would cut into small tractor sales?

I bought a TB Horse about 30 years ago with the expectation of many items to add to the PTO. TB apparently decided there was more money in selling an independent machine for each use instead of an attachment, so many were not produced or were for only a short time.

I have what I think you mean, a tow hitch that fits over the PTO. It would be simple to make one.
