Buying Advice I am now hesitating between the L3901 with BH77 or MX5200 with BH92

I was in your position, myself, and ended up buying both tractors. The MX can't be beat for it's size and power, yet I still needed a smaller tractor for the obvious reasons. As far as the backhoe, I am holding out for a mini ex, probably a KX 71 or 91.

Thank you very much for all your responses, I am now the owner as of today of a new MX5200 (will receive Friday) with a rotary cutter. I have decided not to take the BH92 as it's expensive but rather rent one for the moment when needed. in the future, I will probably go with a used mini ex instead of a tractor BH.

think you made a very wise move on the tractor incl. holding off on b/h, that savings alone can be put to other 3ph implements as needed. send pics of your new machine @ work. might rent a mini ex to see if it will do your work before taking the plunge & buying one good luck

Looking forward to a report & photos. I like having the BH92 around when I need it, but I can see why others might not.
