I have looked at Sears ( Rusty welds and brand new , the plastic does not rust ) and a Snapper rear engine ( 1,600 dollars . )
The rear engine 14 year old Sears I have , is in trouble . Again.
Does Simplicity/Snapper argue over warranty issues ?
I have looked at the Regent at about $2000.0 and the Snapper rear engine at $1500.
Are there any bad reviews about for these machines ?
I read in the Snapper manual that they recommend the dealer adjusts the belts , why ? How difficult is it to change those belts and do the service ?
I have a quarter acre of bumpy grass and a mini hill my Sears can handle easily , the Snapper seems to be a much better machine.
Snapper does not offer the Sears deal with the no charge repair/pickup fee.
Any advice on Sears tractors and service ?
I do not need a huge tractor , I have used a 30 inch 12 horse for 14 years no problems .
Any help welcome , any advice on dealers near Brown Deer would also be welcome.
