I did something similar once, only it was to BOTH cylinders. It was a Westendorff loader on a 4020. We were pulling out a line of fence that the had grown around, tangling it up pretty bad. We hooked the tractor to it and started backing up while lifting. Near the top of the loaders travel both cylinders bent, one outward and the other inward.

The time that I bent mine, the bend went the opposite way yours did, was not over anything like a dump truck, and didn't have hardly any weight in the bucket. I had just stood an empty car trailer os its side to remove worn out running gear and had taken the chains off, and was letting the bucket down when the loader cylinder bent, and mine didn't just bend a little like yours, I flata$$ put a hoseshoe in mine. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Good luck.
