Dealer came by today and looked at the deck.
Since the center pully was tilted , He too thought it was the spindle bearing mount but it was not.
It ended up being the center spindle pulley being bent at the center of the pulley.
How can that happen? We figured it was metal fatigue.
I asked if he had seen this before, he said yes.
I asked is it common...he kinda beat around the bush...did not want to say anything to incriminate JD I guess.
This had been all kind of odd.

It seems to me that if the pulley was bent it would very obvious. The pully would "wobble". Aside from that, other idicators would be things like throwing belts, excessive noise, excessive heat in the belt and pulley, excessive belt vibration, or all of the above.

I wish this was the case with mine. It would have been a much easier fix. The pulley on mine was tilted, but ran true with rotation of the shaft. It did cause extra belt vibration, and noise from belt slap because the pulley was no longer in the same plane as the other pulleys.
